- All candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years of age before enrolling.
- All candidates must have a valid government issued picture ID.
- All candidates must possess a High School Diploma ( High School Transcripts showing graduation date), or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.). Foreign graduates in addition must present English translation of required documents and evaluation confirming that the documents meet U.S. equivalency.
- All candidates must be interviewed by an admission's representative to review and discuss all prerequisites needed for enrollment.
- All candidates must complete and sign an Enrollment Agreement accompanied by the appropriate application and registration fees.
- Specific Program's enrollment requirements may vary depending on the course or program selected; Cleared Background Check, Health Clearance and Immunization, Negative Drugs Screening Test, valid Healthcare Provider CPR & AED Certification, and Student's Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Policy.
- Admissions Assessment Exam may also be required prior to specific program acceptance.
- The School Director or Educational School Director makes the final determination of acceptance or rejection.
- Successful completion of all on-campus courses with a minimum cumulative grade average of C (75%).
- An overall on-campus attendance rate of minimum 80%.
- Successful completion of all clinical externship with 100% of clinical hours completed.
- Fulfillment of all current financial obligations to the school.
Medical Career Institute provides transcripts of all completed courses. Any decision regarding the transferability of these courses is at the discretion of the receiving institution. Students seeking to transfer course credits from other educational institution are responsible for having Official Transcripts forwarded to Medical Career Institute for review. Only courses completed within the last three years and congruent to the selected program for which the student has earned a grade of "C" or above will be evaluated. Submission of school catalog or course syllabus for a review may also be required. The Educational School Director makes the final decision as to the acceptance of course transferability.
