- All students must be at least eighteen (18) years of age before enrolling.
- All candidates must possess a High School Diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.)
- Specific enrollment requirements may vary depending on the course or program selected; passing an entry exam may be required
- Candidates enrolling to Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that do not posses college degree or at least 66 college credits obtained within the last three years may require an entry exam.
- All candidates must be interviewed by an admissions representative or by a member of school staff to review and discuss any prerequisites needed for enrolment.
- All candidates must complete and sign an Enrollment Agreement accompanied by the appropriate application/registration fees.
- The School Director or Educational School Director makes the final determination of acceptance or rejection.
Graduation Requirements
- Successful completion of all on-campus courses with a minimum cumulative grade average of 2.5
- An overall on-campus attendance rate of minimum 80%.
- Fulfillment of all current financial obligations to the school. Obligations must be completely satisfied before sitting for the final exam and before a student is assigned to a clinical site for training at any one of the affiliated hospitals or medical facilities.
- Successful completion of all clinical externship with 100% of clinical hours completed.
Medical Career Institute does not provide any assurance as to the transferability of clock hours/courses or credits to any other college, university or institution. Any decision in regards to accepting Medical Career Institute clock hours/courses credits is at the discretion of the receiving institution. Medical Career Institute however does except transfer students from other accredited schools. The Educational School Director makes the final acceptance decision.
